What are your Hours and Pricing?

Opening times:

My current working days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With Tuesday and Thursday as my days off. You can view my available times on the bookings page. On some occasions I may be able to extend those hours or allotted times depending on my availability at the time. Please do not hesitate to contact me and I will try to assist you with this.

What payment types do you accept?

Eftpos is available with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and of course transactions on your savings or cheque accounts. 

I will also accept bank transfers from your phone. 

I am happy to take cash, but would prefer the correct amount as I do not always have the correct change available or the balance can be credited to your account towards your next treatment. 

How to arrange an appointment?

Ascot Massage & Wellness is a small studio with one therapist, If you are wishing to book an appointment the easiest and quickest way is to book online otherwise, please call and leave a message or text and I will return your call as soon as possible. You can view times available on our online booking system www.ascotmassage.com.au
If you cannot find a time that suits or you need a longer time frame please ring or text and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

I have a group of friends wanting one at the same time, is this possible?

Ascot Massage & Wellness is only a small studio dedicated to one person at a time. I am more than happy to arrange one after the other. 

Can I claim Health Fund Rebates?

You will need to check directly with your health fund to insure you can claim. We are happy to provide a receipt (printed or emailed)  for you to enable you to claim. Sorry I am unable to do on the spot claiming. 

Unfortunately not all massages are covered by health funds and it is only remedial treatments that we are allowed to provide receipts for you to claim.

What to expect on the first visit. 

Please allow plenty of time to find the premises and allow for parking as the area is often very busy with parked vehicles. Please have your phone and my number with you and if you are having problems finding a park please let me know.
Arriving prior to your appointment time will allow you time to help yourself to a drink, settle in to our comfortable reception, and fill out the brief consultation form. Prior to the treatment I will ask further questions in relation to the consult form and have a chat about your needs for the treatment. Please note that your first consult may take some extra time. This is included in your allocated time so if you feel you may need extra treatment time please book a longer session time. 

I leave 15 mins between massage times, this gives me time to clean and tidy for the next client, allows time for payment and any re-bookings for you. The front door is locked during treatment times. If the door is locked please knock once and if I am running late for some reason I will be with you shortly.

Will I feel Good or Sore?

While most people feel amazing the day after a good massage, tt is not uncommon to experience some mild post-massage tenderness and sometimes, depending on the techniques applied, mild bruising, swelling or lethargy. We encourage you to increase your water, eat good heathy food and keep moving gently as much as possible. Apply heat or ice as per your therapists’ instructions. You may also enjoy a warm epsom salts bath.
If post-massage symptoms persist more than 48 hours after treatment, or if they are anything more than mild or impact your function in daily life, or if you have any concerns at all, please contact us immediately. We are very happy to help with post-treatment care advice but can only do so effectively if you contact us as soon as possible.

Vouchers available for 1 hour or 1.5 hours. Recipients can choose their style of massage at the time of booking.

We can arrange to email a digital gift voucher or if you prefer a card and envelope we have those too. Please contact us 0417 004 568 to arrange. .

Late & Cancellation Policy

Late arrivals:

Please be aware if you are running late I will do my best to make the most of whatever treatment time you have left. It is not always possible to extend your treatment time past the expected time. Treatment time is still the full price as booked. 

Cancellations:

In respect to our therapists and our other clients, we do have a cancellation policy:

Cancellations within 2 hours or no show are 100% of the scheduled fee
Cancellations within 2-4 hours are 50% of the scheduled fee
This will be added to your next treatment fee or be sent as an email invoice.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, you can cancel it online or call 0417 004 568 as soon as possible, so the appointment can be offered to someone else.

Appointments within 24 hours you will need to contact Joanne by phone 0417 004 568.

There may in some instances be some emergency circumstances that allow the fee to be waived. Please speak to Joanne.
